The Clan

History

The Clan was founded in June 2009. At that time, a lot of people were playing on Sexy’s CTF, but it had to close for monetary reasons. Frostig gathered regular Sexy’s players, and decided to create a clan to financially help the server. Sexy’s Core was born.

You might wonder where the name comes from. Well, it’s very simple. The clan includes regular players, aka the core of the server. Sexy’s core.

Now the clan is growing with more and more regular player. We sure play some matches, but the main reason for the existence of the clan is FUN! We are all here to gather and have fun, and we all love it!

Recruitment

We’re basically a democracy made up of several groups, with two main reponsabilities: technical (server, forum) and social (recruiting, matches, demos). We work together and approve all the changes as a group. We’re not a competitive clan, our main goal is to have fun without taking matches too seriously. This being said, this are our recruiting rules (handled by the ‘Recruiting group’):

  • All new members must be at least 12 years old (A good spirit is mandatory :D ).
  • We’ll mostly select only active, known players on *SEXY’S* 4.1 and our forum.
  • A presence on the forum is required (1 time by week/2weeks is not too much :D )
  • We’ll organize casual matches and training sessions, wich are semi-mandatory at least for training (team-building, basically)
  • Try to donate for the server (All € are welcome). Else if it’s 1€ for 2 months :D
  • Knowlegde in B3, video, site management … are welcome.
  • Finally, we all speak a common language: English.
  • If you are accepted, a trial period will be applied (2 weeks except if some admins need more times).

We don’t intend to force many rules on our members. But we do want to always work as a team, and this means that following actions will lead to an expulstion as they disturb this group work:

  • Disregard for our clan- or server-fairness rules (winner-joining, hacks).
  • An [i]unannounced[/i], prolonged absence (more than 2 months). Basically a ’stay in touch with us’ rule.
  • Any form of abuse (aggressivness on the server or the forum, wrong usage of eventual admin rights, lack of respect for other players)
